Hezekiah reached out to the remaining Israelites of the Northern Kingdom, inviting them to join the Passover celebration (2 Chron. 30:1-9). Sadly, these couriers were largely scorned and ridiculed (v. 10), although some "humbled themselves" and journeyed to Jerusalem (v. 11).
